There are few musical motifs in movie scores that struck such a chord with audiences. To this day, you will find few people who don’t recognize the Jaws theme, even though the number of people who have never actually seen it is steadily rising. Yeah I am an old man and I think the hell with these kids today…. Just kidding. Jaws was the first real summer blockbuster, and the music played a big role in creating the atmosphere of this thriller. The trailer by the way is fantastic, that’s why it’s embedded here.
