Band of Brothers… The pacific. Only 2 missing.
these are miniseries. personally I thought The Pacific sucked, btw
Where is John Woo’s Bullet in the head guys? Wanna talk about Fury?
excellent point, Hugo. I personally haven’t seen it. We could do a
follow up with even edgier, less mainstream titles. Do you have any
more ideas?
almost added bullet in the head and hamburger hill. couldnt get em all in there 🙂
Well you must see that amazing movie , you wont believe it, its pure awesomeness.
Your list is pretty complete. Let me add two very b but very awesome movies, the italian The Last Hunter (1980) and Buddy Giovinazzo’s Combat Shock (1986) this last one is about a Nam vet, but there are a lot of war flashbacks and i consider it to be one of the greatest independent movies ever. Stalingrad (1993) is another amazingly furious movie.
I liked The Last Hunter… haven’t seen Combat Shock however… Stalingrad yes of course… let me know if you want to guest-author a top 10 of war movies we left out 🙂
we should prob stay away from listing macaroni combat or exploitation type flix, since we’re focusing on more mainstream stuff. plus we have the deuce for those.
The Blue Max needs to be on this list!!!!!!
