For fans of furious punk rock music THE DAMNED (Dave Vanian, Captain Sensible, Rat Scabies, Brian James) are one of the all time greatest bands to ever come along. A new 110 minute documentary on the legends entitled THE DAMNED: Don’t You Wish That We Were Dead directed by Wes Orshoski will be making its debut at this year’s South By Southwest Festival.
Filmed over a period of three years, it delves into the bands’ turbulent, colorful history and rocky relationships leading up to their 35th anniversary. Featuring interviews with friends/fans including: Chrissie Hynde (The Pretenders), Mick Jones (The Clash), members of Pink Floyd, Black Flag, GNR, The Sex Pistols, Blondie, Buzzcocks, Fred Armisen (Saturday Night Live) and others.
