Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert DeNiro, Lily Gladstone and Jesse Plemons star in Martin Scorsese’s upcoming epic crime-western Killers of The Flower Moon. It is based on the best selling book by author David Grann about events that took place in Oklahoma in the early 20th century after Native Osage people discovered oil and became some of the wealthiest landowners in the world. Soon a wave of white interlopers set out to steal the land by marrying into the Osage families and killing off the rightful heirs. The tale is rife with themes that Martin Scorsese has covered throughout his pretigious career yet has a new backdrop he hasn’t ventured into until now. As lifelong fans of the master auteur, we are extremely excited to see this movie.
The film had its premiere at Cannes 2023 to critical acclaim and will be released theatrically in the USA in October.
