Tom Hardy, that crazy British bloke you know from such films as Bronson, The Dark Knight Rises, Lawless, Locke and Mad Max: Fury Road is back on the scene playing dual roles in a new crime film called LEGEND Directed by Brian Helgeland (Screenwriter of L.A. Confidential).
This wildly violent and comical story is based on the book The Profession of Violence: The Rise and Fall of the Kray Twins by John Pearson. The Krays (Ronald and Reggie) were twin brothers who became infamous gangsters during the turbulent 50s and 60s in London. The trailer shows just some of the hell they raised during their time taking over the crime biz. Tom Hardy has become very popular for playing unique, colorful characters and this looks like yet another gem of a (double) part to add to his gallery. The supporting cast features Emily Browning, Colin Morgan, Christopher Eccleston, Taron Egerton, David Thewlis and Chazz Palminteri.
LEGEND will be released in US theaters October 2nd.
