It’s a small world with COLOSSAL THRILLS in Marvel’s ANT-MAN

“If you give god like powers to everyone it’s gonna be chaos”

It’s been a very long time coming! Finally we’ll be getting the Astonishing ANT-MAN movie that us MARVEL fans have been waiting to see for years now. The first trailer for the movie gives us the best look yet at the tone and style that Director Peyton Reed (Yes Man) went for with the project. Michael Douglas (Wonder Boys) stars as the legendary scientist Hank Pym aka Ant-Man, one of the earliest super heroes in Marvel Comics history. Pym was responsible for co-founding The Avengers, although in the MCU, he hasn’t even been mentioned yet. This film will no doubt shed light on his past and his connection to the overall universe. Paul Rudd, known for his outstanding comedic work in films like Anchorman plays Pym’s protege Scott Lang, a career criminal who is hired to help with a secret heist involving his Pym particle powered Ant-Man suit, which can be used to shrink down to microscopic size. This aspect of the movie will be a truly exciting one since we never see movies that take place in the microverse. Sure we’ve seen The Incredible Shrinking Man, Honey I Shrunk The Kids and Innerspace but with todays FX technology, Ant-Man is going to take us to a place we’ve never been in movie history. We’re loving the direction Marvel Studios is taking their live action properties and along with The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, Daredevil and Age of Ultron, ANT-MAN will be another blast into their sci-fi/action adventure world that we simply cannot wait for.

ANT-MAN stars stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña, Judy Greer, Tip “T.I” Harris, David Dastmalchian, Wood Harris, Jordi Mollà and Michael Douglas. The film will be released in theaters July 17th.
