Master of Movie Music JOHN CARPENTER is back and rocking the house

Writer-Director-Composer JOHN CARPENTER is someone that geeks love for all his amazing genre film work over the past 40 years. If you’re a fan you’ll be happy to know he’s now back on the scene, although it’s not behind the camera making features. He’s recently been in the recording studio, working on a bunch of awesome re-imaginings of his most iconic film themes for HALLOWEEN, THE FOG, ASSAULT ON PRECINCT 13 and ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK (see the above video).

The new themes feature Carpenter, his son Cody and godson Daniel Davis, who he collaborated with on his non-soundtrack music releases LOST THEMES and LOST THEMES II. Both of these are also highly recommended!
