As a longtime furious film fanatic, one of the things I love doing most is keeping track of all the movies I’ve watched, as well as stay up to date on what other people are viewing. It’s especially fun to discover new gems thanks to a friend’s recommendation.
Recently, I was invited to sign up to LETTERBOXD, a new community/website for film aficionados where they can indulge in all things cinema. You get to do cool stuff like compile all of the movies you’ve seen (it’s powered by TMDB), rate them, write reviews and even make custom lists. I signed up on January 25th and I gotta admit I’m hooked already! This website, like icheckmovies, is an obsessive film geek’s dream!
LETTERBOXD is currently in the Beta stage, but it should be open to the public very soon, so go ahead, sign up and enjoy! (Don’t forget to add us when you do!)

How is this different than flickchart.com
i remember signing up to flickchart but i wasnt interested in the rating movies aspect, not sure if its changed since. letterboxd isnt a game about pitting two films against each other its for keeping a personalized film journal w/ your own reviews (star ratings is just part of it) & top lists etc. i like the easy to use interface alot too. you should sign up and check it out. i think you’ll like it.
Have you had a chance to check out Filmbuffet.com? The site allows you to build a virtual film catalog and keep track of movies you hope to see.
