Furious Cinema Top 20 Films of 2017

Furious Cinema. What does that mean exactly? Of course on the surface the word Furious brings to mind anger and rage. The main goal of our site is to celebrate the cinema we feel is the most vibrant, bold and memorable. In the past 8 years we’ve provided readers with a good chunk of the kinds of cinema we consider “furious”. Furious Cinema is essentially all the movies that really grab us, that make us love the medium and want to see more. Is it about just being mad as hell about things we see as a negative in the film business? That’s a part of it too. Still, the true concept comes from our passion for movies and wanting artists to keep pushing the boundaries and explore the amazing ideas they can convey to audiences around the world through this amazing art form.

For our latest list we’ve picked out 20 of the films from this year that we feel carry that cinematic passion we love. These are the movies we proudly proclaim are the most Furious of 2017. NOTE: This is not a best to worst list, it’s random.
