Here’s the first look at Antoine Fuqua’s Western action film THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN starring Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, Ethan Hawke, Vincent D’Onofrio, Lee Byung-hun, Manuel Garcia Rulfo, Martin Sensmeier, Haley Bennett, Matt Bomer and Peter Sarsgaard.
Fans will no doubt be wondering if this latest take on Akira Kurosawa’s masterpiece The Seven Samurai (which was first remade as The Magnificent Seven in 1960) will bring anything new to the classic story. That’s something we’ll have to wait and see. I think this kind of fable is open to various interpretations and what will matter most is if it entertains audiences or not. The cast is great and the look of the movie is on point so all we want now is something worth the price of admission.
